Caulking Project in Brighton – Interior & Exterior Finishes

The Challenge

The property featured newly renovated bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas. While the interiors needed neat, mould-resistant caulking to keep wet areas watertight, the exterior required heavy-duty sealing that could stand up to Brighton’s coastal conditions. The client wanted a single team to handle both aspects with consistency and precision.

Our Approach

• Interiors: We carefully removed worn caulking in the bathrooms and kitchen before applying premium-grade silicone designed for wet areas. This gave a sharp, clean finish that blended seamlessly with tiles, benchtops, and splashbacks while protecting against moisture.
  
• Exteriors: For the balcony and window surrounds, we used high-performance weatherproof sealants to reinforce waterproofing and protect against salt air and temperature changes.
  
• Commercial Standards: Since the client also planned to use part of the property as a home office, we applied commercial-grade caulking around large glass panels and entry points to ensure both durability and an immaculate appearance.

The finished project delivered a consistent look across the entire property—indoors and out. The bathrooms and kitchen now have crisp, mould-resistant finishes, while the balcony and exterior joints are sealed against the elements.
